    Description

    In this role you will

    :


    • Serve as a subject matter expert in AMC analysis for AMH division

  • Support AMH business needs in improving analytical capability using various AMC tools, such as TD-GCMS, PTR-MS, IMS, CRDS etc..
  • Independently solves most analytical problems on basis of examining pertinent facts
  • Work with other divisional analytical teams to determine best practices for Entegris AMH division.

  • • Serve as Sr. Chemist in analytical service group

  • Support laboratory operations to include, but not limited to, process routine samples, maintain AMC instrumentations uptime, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Preparing detailed writing test protocols, performing design of experiment for R&D requests, execute test plans, data evaluation/interpretation, and writing laboratory test reports, present findings to stakeholder and senior management.
  • Perform method development and validation/verification for new products, resins and/or R&D projects.
  • Mentor junior chemists to improve their knowledge and skills instrumental analysis
  • Lead and oversee development of Standard Operating Procedures, User Guides, and other relevant documentation for the analytical service group.
  • ​​​​ Traits we believe make a strong candidate :

  • Master or PhD in analytical chemistry related field with equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience (MS)/3 years working experience (PhD) in instrumental analysis, air quality analysis or related fields.
  • Considerable knowledge, acquaintance and understanding of TD-GCMS, PTR-MS, CRDS, IMS and other gas analysis system operation.
  • Experience in working with other gas analysis instrumental such as FTIR, PID analyzer etc..
  • Experience in working with polymer samples, or hands-on experience with TD-GCMS, PTR-MS, IMS, CRDS, ICPMS, IC system are pluses.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair gas analytical instrumentations.
  • Independent problem solver and can work with cross functional teams for new method development and implementation.
  • Have the ability to design and create new analytical procedures and work instructions to enhance laboratory operations.
  • Can develop project plan without supervision. Can coordinate activities with other groups to execute the project plan.
  • Demonstrate the successful gas analysis method development and implementation in the past.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet client and internal demands under tight timelines is a must.

  • People and teamwork – this person will work with cross functions team in different R&D project to support business. The success will be measured by the outcome of these projects. This person will also mentor junior chemists in the lab to improve their skills and knowledge in general gas analysis. The success will be measured by the capability improvement for other group members
  • Accountability, Integrity and Trust – This person will be responsible to implement new analytical methods and improve current methods. The success will be measured by if the method implementation can be delivered as promised and best practices are choose for the analytical group.
