  • Responsible for the Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Tax and Treasury Function in the entity comprising of manufacturing site and APAC ICT office located in Kuala Lumpur. Tasks include :
  • Manage day-to-day financial accounting, internal control and fiscal & statutory compliance for the entity in Malaysia
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and the analysis thereof
  • Review and monitor business performance for the entity and recommend actions to enable short and long-term delivery of business targets
  • Understand the impact and communicate implications of new accounting standards with relevant parties. Implement and ensure compliance of new accounting standards
  • Manage and maintain high quality finance data and processes within D365 ERP system
  • Ensure product costing and related transfer prices are prepared and maintained in line with group guidelines. Periodic checks are implemented to ensure accuracy of data
  • Ensure plant cost performance is analyzed and monitored to maintain productivity at most cost efficient level
  • Ensure all related tax and statutory filings are timely and accurately completed
  • Act as local liaison on financial matters with third parties such as auditors, bankers, lawyers or tax authorities.
  • Responsible for the organization and preparation of the entity's budget and monthly forecast, including the presentation of the budget and monthly business review to the APAC management
  • Direct and oversee the cash-forecasting processes and optimizing cash-flow of the entity
  • Provide management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Responsible for the risk management process (i.e. risk identification, risk assessment, risk aggregation, risk analysis, risk reporting) of the entity
  • Ensure that effective controls are in place and ensure compliance with corporate and international standards
  • Work closely with Region/Group/External Legal Counsel on regulatory and legal matters in the country
  • Develop and manage finance team members
