    The Project Engineer is crucial in supporting the lifecycle of green hydrogen and ammonia production projects. This role encompasses detailed planning, execution, and oversight of Front-End Loading Activities and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities, ensuring alignment with technical standards, budget, and schedule.

    Reponsibilities

    • EPC and Project Execution: Facilitate all EPC activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, cost constraints, and timelines.
    • Project Development: Advance projects from Preliminary Design through to Detailed Design and Execution, focusing on seamless integration and alignment with project goals, cost estimates, and scheduling.
    • Decision Support and Presentation: Co-develop, co-refine, and co-present Decision Support Packages at Gate Review meetings, incorporating detailed project schedules and budget forecasts.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders, providing transparent communication on project progress, schedule updates, and budget status.
    • Risk and Quality Management: Lead rigorous risk assessments and quality assurance processes, incorporating strategies for schedule adherence and cost control.
    • Project Planning and Scope Management: Co-create detailed project plans, with Project Manager, that define scope, resources, timelines, and budget, adjusting plans as necessary to respond to project dynamics.
    • Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Co-manage and co-monitor, with Project Manager, project budgeting and expenditures, implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising project quality or objectives.
    • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting sustainable work practices throughout the EPC process. Advocate for and implement environmental and safety protocols.

    Qualifications

    • Engineering degree; advanced degrees preferred.
    • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
    • Experience in EPC, particularly in sustainable energy sectors.

    Skills:

    • Robust communication, collaboration, and software proficiency.
    • Analytical prowess for problem-solving and decision-making.
