    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    i. Assist the Section Head in planning for the Annual Audit Plan for the Team including of

    completing the Risk Profiling, planning of Mandays, etc

    ii. Assist the Section Head in ensuring that the approved Audit Plans of the Corporate Credit

    Audit, other Head Office Departments and ad-hoc assignments are carried out.

    iii. Perform extractions of audit samples, conduct Pre-Audit Risk Assessment on the

    business/operations units to be audited and conduct audit within the timeframe allocated.

    iv. Assist the Section Head, Corporate Credit Audit in risks assessment and development of audit

    plans to be carried out on a yearly basis.

    v. Assist the Section Head, Corporate Credit Audit in reviewing and providing feedback on

    policies and procedures and other consultancy services requested by the Management.

    vi. To perform audit tasks assigned and ensure completion within timeframe allocated.

    vii. Ensure that all operational lapses and weaknesses are raised for management's information

    and consideration for the next course of actions.

    viii. Prepare and review audit observations based on the evidenced and opinion formed during the

    review within agreeable timeline and to provide suitable recommendation to auditee.

    ix. Prepare and review the audit report including improvisation of contents/substances.

    x. Ensure the working papers are prepared comprehensively and according to the department's

    standard for each of the audit engagement.

    xi. Provide guidance and on the job training to team members.

    Threshold Qualifications:

    Skills

    • Risk-based audit and internal control framework
    • Inquisitive, possess critical thinking, analytical, good communication and report writing

    skills

    • People management

    ii. Knowledge

    • Strong understanding of auditing, credit and banking operations

    iii. Qualification


    • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/ Business Administration/ etc. and equivalant


    • Certification for Banks Auditors (AICB)


    • Professional Credit Certification

    Years & Nature of Experience:

    • More than 10 years of experience in Banking / Internal Audit specialising in Corporate Credit

    Audit or credit reviews.
