    Duties & Responsibilities

    1) Draft, review and revise on all types of agreements/contracts in connection with the Company's business (including but not limited to commercial, operations, information technology, telecommunication, supply chain, logistics, finance, tenancy, franchise, human resource and marketing.

    2) Provide legal support and advise on regulatory issues and compliance with laws and policies.
    3) Handles litigation matters, demand, disputes, customer complaints and other contentious issues, where required, and coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders and external solicitors on such matters.
    4) Provides support to cross functional teams in relation to drafting legal related documents.
    5) Provide professional and expert legal advice, review and draft legal documents to mitigate legal risks and exposures, including gathering, review and analysing facts and documents, conducting due diligence and legal research.
    6) Responsible to assist the Company's compliance and governance functions (including compliance policy, compliance assessment, reporting and training).
    7) Assist to develop, establish, implement and continuously improve frameworks, policies, procedures, processes and controls, etc. to ensure compliance by the Company with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
    8) Participate in negotiation meetings.
    9) Provide valuable contributions in identifying and highlighting gaps and proposing measures to mitigate risks.
    10) Prepare and update status report, managing necessary records and filing system of all legal matters.
    11) Any and other duties and responsibilities that will be assigned from time to time.

    Job Requirements
    1) Bachelor of Laws.

    2) Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (excluding chambering), either as an Advocate & Solicitor or an in-house lawyer, preferably admitted to the Malaysian Bar.

    3)

    Professional legal knowledge and working experience in any of the following areas of law:
    contract and commercial, company's law, intellectual property, conveyancing, land, tort, information technology, privacy, dispute resolution and litigation.
    4) Aptitude for accuracy and attention to details.
    5) Competent drafting skill.
    6) Strong writing and analytical capability.
    7) Good communication skill, both written and spoken.
    8) Excellent in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
