    Job Purpose and Impact

    This position is primarily responsible for Commodity and FX risk management for EOS /CCC/Aalst business in Malaysia /Singapore. It includes development of standardized processes to manage controls, reporting specific to the commodity and FX risk management. This position requires partnering with various stakeholders viz. risk management /trading team member, Planning & reporting team etc. to ensure key controls, compliance, data and reports timely and accurately. This position always endeavor improvements in all the finance related areas including process streamlining, migration of work to CBS Finops, SAP implementation/ upgradation, RACE /GDP implementation and stabilization.

    Key Accountabilities

  • Review & Reporting of commodity position & trading P&L, Monitoring and reporting of FX exposure & P&L:Reconciliation of trading PNL between trader's estimates vs. books with identifying the reasons for differences, providing explanation to different stakeholders for major components of the trading PNL.Effectively identify and communicate commodity and FX risks, through analysis and give outlook/ forecast for various stakeholders relating to commodity and FX risks viz. commodity exposure risk.Provide timely and accurate data and work closely with risk management teams, various finance COEs and other stakeholders. Ensure that all the commodities and forex exposure positions are accurately & timely reported & within the limits.Develop effective and efficient process for reconciliation of position report and FX report with trading team and ensure any significant differences are resolved and communicated appropriately. Ensure all the regulatory compliances pertaining to Commodity positions & Fx exposure with different regulatory bodies.Maintain and implement various policies and processes pertaining to Fx & commodity
  • Assist stakeholders through Process Optimization and Technology Driven Decision Making:Collaborate with various other team member (including TPC) across the APAC region, RMG, FRC & CRC.Identifying and implementing process simplification.Provides inputs on technology needs and strategy, reports standardization by leveraging financial and business systems.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant from ICAI or any professional accounting degree from the institute of repute
  • Experience in financial risk experience particularly in FX & commodities with work experience in commodity position, FX exposure management, trading PNL preparation & reconciliation
  • Strong knowledge of various derivative products
  • Strong accounting experience with very good technical knowledge and experience in commodity & forex exposure management and PAFs.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate, influence and build trust across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and use technology to improve process and control
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
  • Demonstrated ability to create a team culture of continuous improvement, process optimization and intellectual curiosity
  • Vast experience in Commodity and Fx exposure mana
  • Strong learning agility to understand new derivative products, trading strategies
  • Strong experience in mark to markets calculations, trading PNL preparation & reconciliation, application of Cash & Fair Value Hedge
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team through ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Understanding and experience working with JDE, SAP.
  • Active participation in implementation & upgradation of SAP
