    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Commercial:

    Strategic Development:

    • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives in the solar PV industry.
    • Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic planning and market analysis.

    Market Research:

    • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends and analyze the competitive landscape within the solar PV sector.
    • Identify potential clients and projects, keeping abreast of market developments.

    Client Acquisition:

    • Generate leads, qualify potential clients, and prepare compelling proposals to secure new solar PV projects.
    • Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring profitable outcomes and successful contract execution.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Manage existing client relationships, building strong rapport and ensuring account satisfaction and retention within the solar PV industry.
    • Analyze data and reports to identify trends and insights for strategic decision-making.

    Tendering:

    Tender Preparation:

    • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and proposals for solar PV projects in response to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
    • Manage the tendering process, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, quality standards, and industry regulations.

    Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, legal, technical) to ensure comprehensive, competitive, and compliant tender submissions.

    Competitor Analysis:

    • Evaluate and analyze tenders submitted by competitors in the solar PV industry, identifying strengths and weaknesses to inform own bid strategies.

    Negotiation:

    • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, considering industry best practices and achieving the best possible outcome for the company in the context of solar PV projects.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
    • Min 2 years of proven experience in commercial roles within the solar PV industry.
    • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
    • Familiarity with tendering processes and RFP responses.
