Our client in Petaling Jaya (SS25) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. An ideal candidate will be someone with a proven track record of success in Financial Reporting and Accounting who can contribute significantly to their clients' portfolios.

The candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, SST, banking procedures, tax regulations, relevant legislation, and Company Law. Experience in financial reporting and analysis is essential. Responsibilities 1. Client Portfolio Management.

• Act as an Outsourced Accountant or Finance Manager for SME clients without dedicated accounting resources.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing their set of accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Review accounts prepared by the team, providing guidance and expertise.
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax matters, offering strategic advice.

2. Staff Coaching and Training .

• Coach and train accounting staff to enhance their competence in performing tasks for clients.
• Review accounting work completed by client staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support for professional development.

3. Operational Oversight.

• Implement resource planning and efficient job allocation within the team.
• Monitor work in progress, ensuring jobs are completed within established timelines.
• Review and assess the efficiency of internal processes for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA certification is a plus, though not compulsory.
