Randstad is partnering with a Multinational Listed Group from the UK that has been in the specialised market for over 200 years A key player in the manufacturing industry, the company is looking to hire a new Financial Controller to be based in their office in Shah Alam.

About The Job

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and tax

affairs of the local operations, preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets and annual statutory accounts for the businesses. You will be required to work within a regional / end market matrix structure, and with the other regional Financial Controllers. This role will be a key business partner to the Malaysia Country Manager and will form an integral part of the local country management team.

Requirements

• A recognised Degree in Accounting and Finance/Professional qualification such as ACCA/MACPA/CIMA/its equivalent.
• Minimum 6-7 years related working experience in the manufacturing industry in a senior financial role within a MNC environment.
• You have Commercial finance experience and exposure to customers, suppliers and other aspects of a business would be an advantage.
• You have experience of credit risk, viability of vendors, quality of outside advisors would be useful but not essential, as would experience in implementing new finance and related systems.
• You have the ability to manage staff at junior and senior levels and work within a global matrix
• structure.
• Dynamic, independent and possess good managerial and analytical skills.
