    We are currently seeking an Intern to join our Technical Safety team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    About The Role:

    Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:

    Assisting with preparation of technical deliverables as follows:

  • Hazard Identification (HAZID)
  • Hazard and Operability (HAZOP)
  • Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Classification and Verification
  • Fire & Explosion Analysis (FEA)
  • Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA)
  • Non-Hydrocarbon Hazards Analysis (NHHA)
  • Smoke and Gas Ingress Assessment (SGIA)
  • Temporary Refuge Impairment Analysis (TRIA)
  • Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA)
  • Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA)
  • Ship Collision Study
  • Dropped Object Study
  • Thermal Radiation, Gas Dispersion and Plume Study
  • Hazards and Effects Register (HER)
  • Bowtie
  • Safety Critical Elements and Performance Standards (SCEPS)
  • As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP)
  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Case
  • Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Study
  • Delivery of assigned tasks within agreed time limits and of good quality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on high quality report generation.
  • Compliance with Genesis quality management system and procedures.
  • About You:

  • The candidate must have and/or studying a Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of safety in oil and gas or a similarly hazardous industry.
  • Malaysian Nationals preferred.
  • Internship duration: Three (3) to six (6) months.
