DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, administer, and update a strategic leasing plan for each property within the portfolio
• Maintain regular contact with tenants and monitor lease expirations
• Develop and grow relationships with national, regional and local tenants, as well as agents, tenant brokers, business, civic groups and individuals
• Research competitive market information and maintain understanding of market dynamics
• Maintain and update various lease reporting summaries on weekly basis
• Have general knowledge of the local laws governing landlord/tenant relationships
• Manages day-to-day operations of leasing and ensure maximum optimization of resources
• Set up objectives and targets and monitor regularly to ensure all objectives are achieved
• Lease vacant space according to defined retailer mix and target
• Manages all leasing activities including attracting new tenants, vetting prospective clients, rental negotiations and the development of attractive leasing packages
• Continually monitor tenant mix to ensure commercially profitable to the mall
• Fine tuning of retailer mix whenever is possible by visiting prospect regularly and have an updated waiting list
• Finalize renewals of existing retailers in accordance to company's rules and procedures
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on the status and performance of leasing activities
• Coordinate with retailers on a daily basis to resolve issues
• To attend to tenants and clients' needs and provide optimal level of service
• Be up to date on new brands in the retail market

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Business Studies/Estate Management/Law or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within property sales and marketing environment especially in the leasing of retail lots.
• Must have experienced in Strata Title on Mall Management.
• Must be willing to work on weekens (rotation basis).
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
• Efficient, accurate with details and with strong analytical skills
• Well versed in Contract Law/Property Law/Strata Title and Master Title is added advantage
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
