    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced business/functional analyst who excels in translating business needs and requirements into functionalities and specifications to join our On-Premises tribe at SWIFT, the tribe responsible for developing enterprise applications enabling businesses globally to connect to financial networks.

    Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be working as a member of a dynamic team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery - from customer engagements to operations.

    What to expect:

  • You will define, analyze, validate and maintain functional requirements by working constructively in close liaison with stakeholders, and in line with evolving business requirements.
  • You will validate proposed solutions to technical and/or business problems in relation to current and future business environment, reconciling business requirements with technical solutions.
  • You will provide technical or relevant business knowledge during all phases of the development and resolve unique and complex business problems, recognising technical constraints.
  • You will understand technological trends in own area of responsibility and apply this knowledge to bring solutions to the customers.
  • You will challenge the status quo and think out of the box for alternative/most efficient solutions.

    • Competency skills

  • Knowledge in collaborative tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
  • Knowledge on Swift Interfaces (e.g. SAG, SNL, SAA) and Swift payments landscape
  • Knowledge of PAG-DMC (Payment Gateway and Domestic Messaging Channel) solution for NPPA (New Payments Platform Australia) related technologies & tools will be an advantage
  • Experience in modeling (e.g. UML, BPMN) will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of change-driven methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking) will be an advantage

    • Education

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Business or equivalent

    • Experience

  • Minimum 4-5 years in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge/Experience in Agile processes will be an advantage
