Software Validation Engineer will be focusing on validating and developing DDR Memory Reference Code (MRC) for Intel next generation DDR Design. Work closely with Pre and Post silicon validation for software related issues during the development and validation stages of the program. Your specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:- Create comprehensive SW development and test plan based on architecture specification. The validation plan encompasses functional and system level.- Developing system level tests and necessary coverage goals based on specification to verify the firmware, IP and tools implementation.- Identify emerging software or validation technologies that can improve configuration validation efficiency and able to apply shift left methodologies such as simulation and emulation.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with experience in software/firmware verification/validation.-Experienced is Software and Firmware validation to ensure component level functional coverage, system coverage-Familiar with test and validation methodologies, technologies on the unit level or platform.-Experienced in pre-silicon environment validation is a plus including such as FPGA prototyping, emulation, simulation and co-emulation or experience in Intel Quartus design software is a plus.-Experienced with scripting language such as Python/C/C++.-Exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication skills, initiative, promote innovation and teamwork. Self-motivated and ability to excel in a team environment.
