    Head, Data Management Office (DMO LS) Description

    Overall Role & Responsibility

    Overall responsible for data governance and data quality Bankwide including regular reporting and ensuring compliance to all regulatory requirements, laws and policies

    Job Description

    Regulatory Requirement

    ·Establish and operationalise data management related processes to ensure regulatory compliance to BNM Data Management and MIS Framework and Group BCBS 239 initiatives, including but not limited to assessment and operationalisation of the Group Data Management and Governance Framework and its related policies and procedures in meeting the Group BCBS 239 initiatives.

    ·Partners with stakeholders to set data standards, track and drive resolution of data issues.

    Data Management Quality and Controls

    ·Lead the Data Working Group (DWG) comprising of Data Stewards across Divisions in managing cross divisional issues/updates related to Data Management/Quality.

    ·Work with Group Data Management Office (GDMO) and attend GDMO, SG DWG & Group Data Management Committee (GDMC) monthly meetings

    ·Ensure timely communication of new development and changes to all divisions through Data Stewards to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance to Group Framework and processes in meeting the Group BCBS 239 requirements.

    ·Work with project teams (local and group) to identifying critical data elements and ensure controls are in place to manage quality of the critical data and reports.

    Governance and Reporting

    ·Prepare Executive Summary for conducted reviews on data management related Framework, Policies and Procedures including DWG & Data Governance Council (DGC) TOR

    ·Produce regular quarterly monitoring and half yearly attestation report for DGC and Board approval/Information.

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    ·Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Computer Science / Mathematics/ Information Management / Statistics or related disciplines

    ·Possess more than 10 years working experience in data management / data governance

    ·Possess pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work with all levels of stakeholders

    ·Analytical and possess sound problem solving skills

    ·Proficient in Silverlake Integrated Banking System (SIBS) modules (Loans, Deposits, Savings, FD)

    ·Proficient in Teradata SQL scripting preferred
