- Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and testing strategies.
- Conduct functional and regression testing and actively participate in product release preparations.
- Take responsibility for reporting and tracking defects, working collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, including developers and DevOps, to assist in testing new features and products.
- Play a key role in enhancing the test management processes for CatDV software.
- Stay current with the latest technological advancements to continually improve your skillset and contribute to the team's success.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
- At least five years experience working in a Quality Control role, Test Engineer, or related position with equivalent experience.
- Basic proficiency of Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Understanding and experience in DevOps development culture, principles, and practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, & presentation.
- A fast learner - gaining a good understanding of the current architecture and functioning of the existing CatDV suite of products.
- Enjoy working in a team environment as well as being able to work independently.
- Able to adjust to flexible work hours.
- Proven experience with testing SaaS and Cloud software.
- Scripting and coding skills.
- Experience with problem tracking and test automation software.
