    APAC People & Culture Head


    As People & Culture Head for the APAC region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture, ensuring HR compliance, and supporting the growth and development of our employees.

    You will oversee HR operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and partly India .

    You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to drive initiatives that enhance the employee experience and align with the company's strategic goals.


    Key Responsibilities:

    HR Strategy and Leadership:
    Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
    Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the HR teams across the locations.
    Drive initiatives to enhance employee experience, not limited to employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction of employees.


    Compliance and Legal Oversight:
    Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in the mentioned countries.
    Stay updated with government guidelines, global directives, and legal requirements to ensure compliance in HR practices.
    Collaborate with legal counsel to address employment-related legal matters and mitigate risks.


    Policy Development and Implementation:
    Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to each country's regulatory requirements. ( Good to have exposure to MOM Singapore, MDEC Malaysia & BIR, DOLE and POEA in Philippines )
    Ensure consistent application and adherence to global HR policies across the APAC region.
    Provide guidance to local HR teams on policy interpretation and implementation.


    Talent Management and Development:


    Oversee onboarding, and offboarding processes across APAC and ensure compliance with global policies on the same and adopt best practices for ensuring top notch employee experience.

    Collaborate with Global Learning & Developments team and Delivery teams across APAC for implementing globally rolled out training and development programs as well as Certification programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.

    Work closely with People & Culture & Delivery team to identify high-potential employees and support their career development plans.

    Employee Relations:
    Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, fostering a positive work environment.
    Mediate and resolve disputes, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and transparent manner.


    Data Analysis and Reporting:


    Oversee Data capturing by various SPOCS and ensure accuracy of regular reports on HR activities, compliance status, and employee feedback for senior management.

    Utilize HR analytics to assess key HR metrics and trends, providing insights for data-driven decision-making.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

    15 plus years of progressive HR leadership experience in a Software Development and Services Company , with a focus on APAC region.

    Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices in APAC countries.
    Experience in HR audits, compliance management, and policy development.
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
    Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
