    We're looking for a Duty Executive to oversee all functions and activities within the scope of cargo operations. This individual will be working in our cargo warehouse in Sepang and will be reporting to the Cargo Operations Manager.

    SALARY RANGE : MYR 4,240 - MYR 6,36

    A DAY IN A LIFE

    As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

    Cargo Operations Management:

  • Supervise all functions and activities within the scope of cargo operations.
  • Manage safety and security risks associated with cargo operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Responsible for both commercial and operational aspects of the department.
  • Monitor third-party service providers and contractors to ensure adherence to safety and security standards set by airlines.

    • Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Cargo Terminal Operators (CTO) and other third-party service providers.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day cargo operations, including acceptance, handling, and loading/unloading of cargo onto aircraft.

    • Team Leadership:

  • Foster a culture of open communication and be a good listener to address team concerns.
  • Plan rosters for team members to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are adequately covered.
  • Provide direction to team member, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

    • Cost Management:

  • Monitor and update costs related to cargo operations, including fuel costs, plastic sheets, and other expenses.

    • Collaboration and Communication:

  • Address issues related to cargo handling, security, and safety.
  • Interact with customers, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues related to cargo shipments.

    • Specialized Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and evaluate drop tests for wet cargo shipments.
  • Conduct manpower planning for daily operations, ensuring sufficient resources to handle current operations.
  • Serve as a company representative for airlines at Cargo Terminal Operators (CTO).
