Building on its success Mintel is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist APAC with an extremely high attention to detail to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur What You Will Be Doing Manage payroll activities across multiple countries Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders Ensure accurate payment dates of employees Process new hires terminations transfers promotions and pay increases Ensure timely submission of statutory filings Reconcile the payroll journal to the general ledger Conduct payroll post mortems Prepare necessary reporting as part of month end closing Contribute to monthly forecasting and annual budgeting Stay updated on changes in local laws regulations Addresses employee queries Assist during audits Contribute process improvement initiatives Assist other accounting functions as neededJob description
