    Job Summary

    1. HR People Partner Role

  • Serves as primary interface between HR and the assigned department or business unit/function on HR matters, through the provision of consultation, guidance and support in developing & progressing people management solutions to achieve retention and development goals of associates under HR partnership role and overall business objectives.
  • Drive changes proactively, build trust and confidence with all associates and their managers of assigned department or business unit/function on embracing HR policies and processes.
  • 2. Process Owner Role

  • Responsible to develop, maintain and improve policies and processes, coordinate communication plans and roll out, content expert and referent person of the topic, ensures and monitors standardized and consistent policy/process execution, administration and deployment; adherence to central directives, benchmark best practices and recommends improvement.
  • Job Scope

    1. Coach, support and mentor managers and associates in the application of all HR policies, processes and practices which includes but not limited to the following:

  • Recruitment & Selection Activities
  • Succession Planning Discussions
  • On Boarding Process
  • Separation & Exit Interview/Protocols
  • Retention Risk Analysis and Retention Programs/Measures
  • Internal Mobility & Transfers
  • Salary Proposals, Career Growth and Promotion Discussions (ASR)
  • Associate Development Discussion and Programs
  • Associate Development & Career Advancement Discussion
  • Performance Management Discussions
  • Job Evaluation/Assessment
  • Transition Workshops for new leaders
  • Grievance Handling & Discipline Actions
  • Rewards and Recognition
  • Round Table Session
  • Application and implementation of HR Processes
  • 2. Ensures compliance and observance of all relevant regulations of Bosch Central Directives, Code of Business Conduct, company policies and procedures as well as all country regulatory compliance in fulfillment of legal and contractual obligations applicable for the company.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or its equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in dealing with overall HR scope.
  • Strong networking with Labor Department, Unions, Workers Council, Industrial Relations Department and HR Community networks.
  • Literacy in MS Office applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR systems.
  • Strong knowledge on theoretical and applied knowledge on local Labor Laws including Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Trade Union Act 1959, SOCSO and EPF Acts, Income Tax Act and other related statutory regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eloquent Business English communication and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia for verbal communication, policy development and maintenance, memorandums and proposals.
  • Process orientation and sense of logic.
  • Able to synthesize information, assess personalities, intentions and performance from various sources of information and feedback and derive to a conclusion and inferences.
  • Ability to present ideas in a professional and structured manner.
  • Demonstrate professional and ethical business conduct.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage different personality types.
  • Possess planning and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge on overall HR systems, data security and protection requirements.
