    Description
    As the BIM Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and project requirements across the APAC region. Your role will involve acting as a key collaborator between the client's team, design team, contractor team, and supply chain to ensure cohesive project execution. You will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement a BIM strategy tailored to the specific needs and objectives of projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
    • Act as a central point of contact and collaborator between stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with BIM standards.
    • Oversee the production and management of project information models, ensuring they contain accurate 3D visualisations, data, drawings, and schedules.
    • Establish and maintain BIM standards and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality across projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
    • Provide training and support to project teams in the Asia-Pacific region on BIM processes and tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and integrate them into company practices to enhance efficiency and outcomes in the Asia-Pacific region.
    • Monitor the progress of BIM-related tasks throughout the project lifecycle, from inception to completion, in APAC projects.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with BIM implementation and model accuracy in projects across the Asia-Pacific region.
    • Ensure that all BIM deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations in APAC projects.
    • Generate reports on BIM progress, performance, and compliance for senior management and stakeholders, with a focus on projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction, product design, civil engineering, or architectural technology.
    • Proven experience in BIM management within the construction industry, preferably with exposure to international projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
    • Expertise in BIM software applications such as Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, or Autodesk Civil 3D.
    • Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor teams in BIM processes in the Asia-Pacific context.
    • Excellent communication skills to liaise with effectively various stakeholders and ensure smooth project execution across the Asia-Pacific region.
