Authorized BYD (Build Your Dreams) automotive dealership in Sabah, Malaysia, exclusively serving customers in the region. BYD, a leading high-tech company from China, initially entered the market in February 1995 as a rechargeable battery factory, challenging Japanese imports in the Chinese market. The automotive subsidiary was established in 2003 and has evolved to become one of the largest electric vehicle manufacturers globally as of June 2022.

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive repair (preferred)
• Certificate / Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field

Tasks & responsibilities

• Inspection of components for wear and tear
• Repair/ replacement of broken/ worn out parts.
• Verification of vehicle functions and its subsystems
• Notifies the Service Advisor and Job Controller immediately of work interruptions as a result of additionally required work, complications, missing parts or missed deadlines.
• Ability to communicate or provide information on status of repair.
• Uses checklists/ repair instructions, tools and test equipment adhered to current BYD guidelines
• Has co-responsibility for customer satisfaction by providing optimal technical solutions on customer vehicles.
• Handles tools, special tools, work clothing, etc. properly.
• Observes accident prevention guidelines and reports incidents to his or her supervisor.
• Provides information to the supervisor about preapproval for additional repair.
