    About the Role

    Responsible for preparation of management report and financial statement under MFRS 17

    Roles & Responsibilities ​

  • Responsible for preparation of management report / financial highlights for AIA PUBLIC's Senior Management Team and respective Board / Audit / Shariah committees as and when required.
  • Perform detail analysis in Financial Highlight to give better financial insight to Finance/Management e.g claims analysis by product, channel's profitability and liaise with respective counterparts to ensure all queries from Finance Director / management are timely attended
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly actual profit after tax & forecast
  • Preparation of ILP annual report and liaising and engaging with respective counterparts to ensure completion
  • To prepare financial statement including disclosures and analysis of financial results and outputs
  • To drive / lead automation process for monthly / quarterly/ yearly reporting including the disclosure notes

    • Minimum Job Requirements

  • A recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Prior working experience in the insurance industry will be an added advantag
  • Able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Analytical and good problem solving skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
