    Description

    We are seeking trustworthy candidates who a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analysing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You should have a firm well accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and transactional documentation. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis. Summarize financial information to assist in decision-making and provide key insights to management. Present financial reports to stakeholders and assist with financial audits.
    • Budgeting and Cost Analysis: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets, including revenue and expense projections. Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
    • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, laws, and regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and advise management on potential impact.
    • Financial Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices to optimize financial operations, including automation and integration of systems. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
    • Maintain a good filling system and proper record of all documents.
    • Liaison with internal and external departments (eg: auditor, tax agent, company secretary etc) regarding accounting, finance and other related issue.
    • Handle full set of accounts.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such ACCA, CIMA or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a proven track record of financial analysis and reporting.
    • Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their application. Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) is desirable.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting is essential.
    • Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous approach to data accuracy.
    • Ability to review and reconcile complex financial records and identify discrepancies.
