- Have a deep understanding of business requirements, and how to best build the web application
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, , Redux & REST/JSON
- Familiarity with Node JS
- Unit testing (JEST), integration testing and deployments in various environments
- Troubleshooting & defect analysis
- Interface with other teams for technical details to integrate the web with back-end services
- Build & unit test reusable UI components
- Documentation of code
- Familiar with, or carry out, CI/CD processes in AWS (eg. configuration management, daily automated build, unit testing, etc.)
- Occasional travel may be required
- Experience in and REST/JSON
- Extensive experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience in Node JS
- Prior experience in Financial Services or Insurance highly regarded
- Experience with JEST, JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo, Sonarqube is a plus
- Problem solving
- Writing reusable code
- Experience with MVC and other design patterns
- Passion for new and emerging technologies, the ability to investigate these in depth
- Ability to understand business requirements in detail
