    The GBS teams manages General Ledger and Consolidation activities. It is an expanding and evolving team which encourages continuous improvement and people development. The team is responsible for completing an efficient and compliant end to end RTR cycle for all stakeholders.

    Key responsibilities

    • Period-end/year-end activities to be performed according to Kerry Standards and practices.
    • Completion of Quality Reviews of journals, analysing financial and non-financial results, investigating variances and ensuring consistent and accurate data based on generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
    • Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation with analysis of aged/invalid transactions etc
    • Take ownership of keeping track no unexplained transactions significant unbudgeted amount spend by the entity – constant analysis of the ledger spending and high awareness of the cost level/where about
    • Drafting and ensure sign-off of Statutory Reports after Year-End Closing
    • Prepare/Submit Budget & Projection with close liaison with Country Controller and Site HR
    • Ad hoc tasks will be kept as minimal but most cases will be required for better cost control/analysis. That reflects your core responsibilities to Kerry, but you will be keen to take on other challenges.
    Qualifications and skills

    Mandatory:

    • Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize and complete key tasks, deliverables and ad hoc tasks as required.
    • Good technical accounting knowledge with minimum 5 years experience in commercial / financial accounting with dedicated GL knowledge
    • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Finance/Accountancy; Professional accounting qualification or equivalent

    Desirable:

    • Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills with high attention to detail
    • Multi Cultural experience
    • Strong Excel skills to promote effective working
    • Experienced in SAP and BPC will be an advantage
