    Description

    Position Summary:

    As the Head of Digital Managed Services in Ace Digital, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of over 20 digital applications across digital infrastructure, managed cloud services and cloud platforms. Your role will focus on enabling the scaling, performance monitoring, security management, adherence to security and compliance standards and ongoing maintenance of these applications to ensure 24/7 service availability as per agreed SLA. . Additionally, the incumbent will lead a team tasked with developing and implementing change requests to digital applications and CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery and quality through increased automation, adherence to software development standards and increasing infrastructure-as-code deployment deployment capabilities, enhancing monitoring and observability. Additionally, you will track appropriate digital managed services metrics, identify improvement opportunities, manage risks, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your ultimate goal is to enhance the overall quality of digital managed services through effective planning, execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Service Level Management: Ensure all digital and cloud-based applications and infrastructure meet or exceed agreed-upon service levels. Address deviations proactively with corrective actions.
    • Uptime and Availability Management: Oversee the performance and availability of digital applications and infrastructure, both in on-premise and cloud environments. Implement strategies to maintain high uptime and rapidly address service disruptions.
    • Security and Compliance: Ensure all applications, in on-premise and cloud environments, comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security audits and updates to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
    • Managed Cloud Services Oversight: Direct the management of cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability of cloud services.
    • Spearhead FinOps initiatives to provide visibility into cloud costs and utilization, and optimize expenditure
    • Cloud Platform Strategy: Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for expanding our portfolio of managed services including on-premise infrastructure, cloud, security, networking and end user support
    • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Manage and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. Ensure streamlined, efficient development cycles and high-quality code deployment.
    • Change Management for Digital Applications: Lead the Digital Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review and approve changes, releases, optimizations of managed services and executing the changes in digital applications Ensure these changes align with business objectives and are delivered within specified timelines.
    • Team Leadership and Development: Manage and develop a skilled team of Digital DevOps, and MLOps. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and capabilities.
    • Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders to align cloud services and CI/CD practices with business needs. Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors for optimal service delivery.
    • Strategic Planning for Digital and Cloud Services: Contribute to strategic planning, identifying opportunities for application, digital infrastructure and cloud service improvements and innovations to support business goals.
    • Defining and tracking key digital managed services metrics to assess the effectiveness of digital managed services efforts. You will prepare reports and presentations to communicate trends ,issues and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
    • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance digital managed services practices and optimize overall digital managed services quality. This involves analyzing root causes of defects, identifying process bottlenecks, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
    • Ensuring compliance with IT policies, relevant regulations, industry standards and best practices related to digital managed services. This includes staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in the digital domain.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients and external partners to drive improvements. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on digital managed services activities and addressing any concerns or issues.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Energy, drive and passion to work, and operate in a digital world
    • 10+ years of experience working in technology domain – 5+ years specific focus in digital implementation and/or managed services
    • Hands-on working knowledge for Azure platform preferred
    • Strong experience in tech coding React Native/RESTful APIs/Python/C/Java or any other languages)
    • Exposure to architecture (SOA/Microservices) and database (SQL/NoSQL)
    • Candidates with prior experience with Agile & DevOps methodology including exposure to CI/CD tools, Azure Pipelines/Jenkins, etc. would be preferred.
    • Excellent written, verbal communication skills; Ability to work in cross-functional teams
    • Technically proficient in common cloud service-oriented platforms preferred
    • Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
