A leading Malaysian public listed company across diverse sectors is seeking a Head of Corporate Strategy to elevate and lead the department. Reporting directly to the Managing Director in this job, you will oversee a dynamic team, driving strategic initiatives.

About the Head of Corporate Strategy Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for covering various aspects of corporate strategy. This includes being responsible for formalising the company's strategic planning processes and leading the development of strategy, translating it for all functions and divisions, as well as, driving organisational change, forging new working relationship and synergies across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead corporate strategy, business processes, communications, and company secretarial functions
• Drive organisational growth through tactical expansion strategies
• Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities aligned with the group's vision
• Streamline or divest non-performing assets in line with company objectives
• Execute strategic initiatives, offer financial advice, and monitor progress towards goals

To succeed in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in any related field (business, finance or economics).

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 20 years' work experience in strategy planning capacity and involvement in overall business operations
• Seasoned professional, with strong strategy orientation, financial sense and stakeholder management
• Ability to apply a variety of strategy frameworks to analyse problems and to guide/develop solutions
