    JOB SCOPE

    Role : Sales Specialist

    Join us as Sales Specialist Channel for the Electrification Business Area where you will be responsible for sales of products in panel builder channel with a designated market in accordance with strategy. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues. You are responsible to identify and develop sales opportunities. Reporting to Channel Manager and this position will be based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

    Responsibilities

    • Selling products to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and aligning to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
    • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
    • Creating added value for the customer and ABB. Ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
    • Collaborating with demand creation team and executing those activities that require channel partner participation. Implementing the planned communication, promotion in the channel/segment
    • Contributing to achieving key targets (volume, prices) for the panel builder channel. Creating detail plans, implement with regular follow up
    • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
    • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection. Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the marketing manager. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience Low Voltage (LV) product
    • Strong relationship or network in Panel Builder and industry knowledge of general industry, Building or Data Center will be an added advantage
    • Should have work with direct or indirect sales or marketing field
    • Good hold on computer skill, Microsoft office
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
