    Description

    Our client is a well-established MNC with over 40 years experience in industrial projects, specializing in M&E related works such as HVAC and Cleanroom systems. We are looking for experienced project engineers, who are familiar with mechanical & electrical systems for industrial projects, to be based at Penang/Kulim area. Fresh graduates in Mechanical Engineering are welcome to apply

    Job Requirements:

    • Work with project team and involved in procurement, construction, commissioning etc
    • Manage project execution at site for Mechanical or Electrical distribution system, HVAC, cleanroom, process utility system etc.
    • Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures and requirements.
    • Liaise with client, consultant, sub-contractor, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.
    • Coordinate with sub-contractors for site survey, space management, site activities.
    • Perform interim progress claims, monitor progress payments and determine variation orders.
    • Attend SMBWA, toolbox meeting and design review meeting if required.
    • Update As-Built drawing and prepare handover documents.
    • Prepare Request for Information (RFI) on changes of specification.
    • Prepare technical presentation to clients.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    • 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience for Project Engineer
    • 5 - 6 years for Sr. Project Engineer
    • Preferably candidate with work experience in Engineering or Building and Construction Works
    • Good knowledge in projects management in industrial projects
    • Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia both in writing and communication. Proficient in Mandarin/Chinese language would be an added advantage.
    • Computer literate and proficient in Ms. PowerPoint and Ms. Excel
    • Willing to put in extra effort to meet deadlines
