Senior Engineer Facility Operations - Kulim, Malaysia - Infineon Technologies

In your new role you will:

• To implementing strategic facility management practices, conducting routine inspections, coordinating maintenance activities.

• To oversee the operation of facilities, including but not limited to buildings, utilities, and environmental systems.

• Communication skills to include documentation, presentation, team contribution to continuous improvement programs

• Acts as an interface between operation team and supply & operation engineering

• Participates in setting and reaching department goals

• Works on safety formalities for facility area together with Environment, Safety & Health

• Act as safety representative for facility management

• Participate at facility knowledge exchange community(KEC) teams in own area

• Contribute to cost control
• To create a well-maintained and productive work environment

• To enhance the overall functionality, sustainability and ensure the optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency of lift elevator system.You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 3-5 years experience as a Lift/Elevator Engineer, with a focus on facility management, knowledge of elevator systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with relevant local authority regulations.

• Knowledge in writing 8D reports and FMEA.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Relevant management experience required.

•Certification from a recognized elevator industry association is advantages
