    What's the role?

    The Regional Reward Expert focused on Reward Excellence is responsible to develop and continually improve the HR steering, efficiency, accountability, and administration landscape across the region. This role leverages an analytical & technical skillset to develop dashboards that enable data-driven decision making. In addition, this role is accountable for system & process excellence topics within the HR function, including payroll process, internal audit process, and acting as a Workday subject matter expert.

    What does the role involve?

  • Build up the HR reporting & analytics function in Hilti's South Asia Pacific region leveraging data analysis and automation tools such as Power BI to synthesize data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Enhance Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) payout reporting & analytics in collaboration with Regional Finance Team, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate the process.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders up to the executive level in a clear manner with callouts and actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Complete monthly payroll process for Hilti's South Asia Pacific regional hub in Singapore.
  • Steer payroll improvement project to review the payroll landscape across the region, map a consistent and compliant payroll process, and transition toward fewer payroll partners & potentially full payroll outsourcing with a shared service center set-up.
  • Act as Audit / Internal Control System (ICS) subject matter expert for the region on HR topics – drive improvements across the HR controls for the region and support with spot checking during the regular review periods.
  • Serve as Workday expert for Human Capital Management (HCM), Advanced Compensation, and Reporting streams – participate in respective global communities, act as first point of escalation for issues within the region, ensure all legal entities in the region are fully leveraging the capabilities of Workday in these areas.
  • Ensure data quality is best-in-class in the region – provide training on data quality topics, complete regular data quality audits, and coach markets as needed to ensure gaps are addressed.
  • Proactively identify further opportunities to make data driven decisions, streamline & enhance HR processes, and further leverage technology to automate in the HR space.

    What you need is:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4-7 years of work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros, and Power BI essential
  • Previous experience with Workday and payroll systems preferred
  • High learning agility with an interest to shape the role together with team lead
  • Passion for data & analytics with a desire to be the "champion of dashboarding" in HR
  • Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of the end user and their needs
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong drive to deliver outstanding results
  • Energized by working with systems and driving process improvements
  • Ability to conceptualize an idea and carry it forward to a tangible solution
