    A. Project/Enhancement Management

  • Manage projects/enhancements initiated by Management or BNM.
  • Ensure projects/enhancements are run in accordance with the Bank's standard project governance e.g. conduct regular project/enhancement meeting.
  • Ensure projects/enhancements tasks follow the Bank's standard policies e.g. Raising CER, creating tender waiver, negotiate quotations, e-bidding where required, etc.
  • Ensure project/enhancement spending is within approved budget.
  • Keep an overall view of BNM's compliance in order to manage BNM's expectations.
  • Assist to prepare Budget for Capital Expenditure.
  • Create CER for capital expenditure on administrative items and project/enhancement related matters.
  • Work with the relevant Operations and Business Units on matters relating to project/enhancement.
  • Follow-up with IT SME on IT related matters.
  • B. Regulatory Reporting

  • Disseminate BNM emails to report owners once received from HOR.
  • Maintain inventory list of BNM Statistical Reports, detailing report preparers, checkers, HOD, etc.
  • Assist and liaise with report owners in respect of their revised reporting templates.
  • Provide guidance on BNM expectation with regards to timely, accurate and correct reporting as stipulated in the relevant system policy document.
  • Perform checking of CCRIS monthly JFA & Quarterly SREF before submission to Group Compliance.
  • Managing monthly JFA for Statistics compiled under STATsmart for both HLBB & HLISB – collate bank-wide; ensure correct reporting; obtain signature of HOR & Group Compliance and ensure timely submission.
  • Maintain list of mandatory JFA items.
  • Managing monthly CCRIS Data Quality Report (DQR) submission for both HLBB & HLISB and ensure timely submission as well as ensure continuous improvement in data quality.
  • Apply Data Quality Framework in Regulatory Reporting.
  • Follow through with respective users on BNM directives.
  • Managing yearly CRS/FATCA submission to LHDN for HLBB, HLISB & Nominees Entities.
  • Review ITR, UAT results and UAT signoff where the change/enhancement request has impact to BNM Statistical Report, as part of the change approval process prior to Production implementation.
  • Update SOP on regular basis as dictated by the Bank's policy.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Head of department from time to time.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance or a recognized professional tertiary qualification in related field and/or with related working experience.
  • Minimum 1 year working experience in Regulatory Reporting in the financial services industry. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as on the job training will be provided.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Sound knowledge of Excel (at least intermediate stage) is required.
  • Independent, resourceful, committed and a team player.
  • Ability to work with limited direction and guidance.
