    Description

    Purpose of Job / Job Summary :

    Lead and manage projects in the construction industry by implementing Digital Engineering, Cloud Computing and SmartCity initiatives including engineering software solutions, web apps, mobile apps, technical computing, CDE, data warehouse, programming and analystics.

    Key Responsibilities/Duties :

    • Lead DE initiatives and project deliverables.
    • Coordinate and Manage DE initiatives across the company, departments, and projects.
    • Evaluate, manage and implement software related to CDE, EDMS, Project Management, Field Management and GIS.
    • Manage and implement web and mobile app rollouts for engineering projects in the company.
    • Evaluate, Manager and implement Cloud Computing solutions related to construction and engineering tech.
    • Provide technical orientation to new hires regarding DE tools.
    • Maintain high DE competency in company, departments and projects.
    • Implement AR, VR, Drone 3D, TLS and GIS Cross the projects.
    • Liaison with software vendors and loud service providers.
    • To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
    • Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

    Qualification & Experience

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT, GIS or Engineering.
    • In-depth knowledge of current cloud computing processes and standards.
    • In-depth knowledge of current web and mobile development processes and standards.
    • Must have basic Autodesk, ESRI and Bentley software working experience.
    • Must have basic CDE and EDMS experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Ability to use time productively, maximize project efficiency and meet challenging project goals.
    • Ability to take on additional technical responsibilities and knowledge as needed with minimal guidance.
    • Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand highest standard of conduct from self and others.
    • Must be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue continued improvements in BIM, tunneling and construction industry.
    • Possess the ability to lead a team and work independently.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team.

    Specific knowledge/skill/ability in

    • Create written technology evaluations and cost to future technology adoption that aligns with corporate goals.
    • Performing system analyses on software programs, applications, and web services.
    • Report on the group current and projected state with regards to DE implementation.
    • Implement and manage CDE, GIS, Construction Field Mobile Apps, and EDMS across the projects.
    • Determining the cost implication of various DE solution options.
    • Develop and enforce ISO and DE documentation and standards.
    • Create construction plan for upgrade, replacement or deployment of DE technologies.
    • Ensuring engineers have access to the DE tools and equipment they need.
    • Overseeing the purchase of software, workstation and tablets so that DE related tools is sufficient and effective.
    • Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure DE implementation.
    • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in DE technology.
    • Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies.
    • Manage software development and rollouts for DE.
    • Reporting to Head of Digital Engineering Department in company.
