Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive ICT Resident Engineer to provide standing supervision of ICT work during a hospital construction project. In this role, you will work as part of the ICT Consultant team and be responsible for directly overseeing installation works of passive infrastructure (trunking, cabling etc), site preparation of Server Room and Riser Rooms, installation of active equipment, room equipping and other ICT implementation throughout the construction phase. Guided by the primary consultant, your objective will be to ensure compliance to approved methods and standard industry practices by the ICT sub-contractor. This position requires technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively with construction site team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide on-site supervision and technical inspection throughout the ICT implementation process.

- Collaborate with the project team, architects, contractors, and other relevant parties at site to ensure the ICT works are carried out effectively.

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of ICT components, including network infrastructure, servers, telecommunications systems, and other relevant equipment.

- Conduct quality control checks and inspections to verify compliance of installed ICT infrastructure and equipment.

- Prepare routine progress reports and assist in monthly claim process.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field.

- Have work experience working at construction site as RE or IOW.
