The Role

You will be responsible for :

A Customer Support Translator who is proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese typically has a crucial role in bridging the language gap between the company and its Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking customers.
Translation support between doctors and patients based in the US Experience
The core responsibility is to translate customer inquiries, complaints, or feedback from Mandarin or Cantonese to the company's preferred language (usually English) and vice versa.
Engaging with Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking customers via various communication channels such as phone, email, chat, or in-person to address their inquiries, issues, or requests.
Ensuring that translations are accurate and maintain the integrity of the customer's message. Quality control is crucial to avoid misunderstandings.
Having a deep understanding of the culture, customs, and etiquette of Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking customers is important to provide culturally sensitive and appropriate responses.
Collaborating with other customer support team members to resolve customer issues or complaints.
Assist in training new customer support translators or team members and sharing insights on language-specific issues or cultural considerations.
Analyzing customer interactions to identify trends, common issues, and opportunities for improvement. This data can be used to enhance the customer support process..

Ideal Profile

You need to be fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region
0 – 5 years (we can consider a mix of fresher/experienced translators/CS candidates)
