- Responsible for processing Purchase Requisition including understanding requirements, sourcing, negotiating & comparison of non-trade products and services.
- Perform end to end quotation enquiries/RFQ/RFP PROCESS up to PO issuance.
- To analyze and summarize the offer provided by vendors to gain cost effectiveness in procurement. Evaluate vendors by visiting their premises, checking vendor's financial background, business license, quality assurances and management & support team's capability.
- Co-ordinate with vendors to ensure on-time goods delivery.
- Accountable and responsible for ensuring adherence to the company's processes and procedures.
- Provide analytical recommendations for short-listing process.
- Ensure Supplier Price Review record is updated.
- Handle New Vendor Registration, Evaluation & Assessment including background checks, New Vendors' due diligent & profiling.
- Prepare, review, revised, verify and finalize contract documents for the procurement of goods and services.
- Analyze, review and highlight risks associated with specific contract terms and is able to work with Legal department to propose alternate terms where necessary.
- Administrative function including filings, monitoring of contract expiry, updating and maintaining supplier contract summary sheets, updating and maintaining supplier assessment records for accountability and audit purpose.
- Support in project work involving tender /RFP /RFQ invitations preparation, coordinates tender processes, assist in compiling tendering comparison, organizing meeting with user and suppliers to finalize terms of agreement with vendors
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Operation Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Legal or equivalent.
- Preferably Min (1) year working experience in procurement, contract management or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Able to work independently, initiative, good analytic skills, willing to learn and able to work within deadlines and stress.
- A strong command in written and spoken English. Must have intermediate skill in Excel.
- Experience in SAP will be an added advantage.
