    Job Description
    • Completes assigned tasks that meet quality, functionality and schedule objectives.
    • Collects and analyzes data for functional design reviews.
    • Helps prepare Readiness review materials and preview content with the Lead Engineer.
    • Requires only general supervision and little guidance.
    • Provide input to program / project technical strategy.
    • Has broad knowledge of general business operations.
    • Knows & comprehend individual and project goals.
    • Understand the practical implications of one's work on operations or vice versa (e.g. materials availability, volume manufacturing environment).
    • Sees issues from customer's perspective and develops rapport with customers.
    • Acts in a responsive and flexible manner to balance customer requests with established priorities
    • Lead the Extended Core Team Meeting & support the MRR/PLC process for new Products bring up.
    • Support the EC Change process for development activities for sustaining products.
    • Responsible for Product Launching Strategy :
      • Design Requirement
      • Program Schedule & Milestone
      • Manufacturing Strategy & Readiness
      • Supply Strategy & EOL Exposure
      • Product Contract (Yield, CT, Quality and other KPI)
      • Product Readiness for QS & Volume Production
      • Ramp & Transition Plan
      • Product maturity & sustainability
    Qualifications
    • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering yrs. related experience, or
    • MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering yrs. related experience
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Capable to speak, read and write in English.
    • Exposure to an engineering development environment.
    • Knowledge of products containing various disciplines of engineering components.
    • Exposure to and understanding of the following technical areas: Process Testing, Design for Manufacturing & Assembly; Firmware, Closed-Loop Servo Systems, Mechanics, Read Channel, Recording Subsystems, and failure analysis.
    • Ability to present information, ideas, perspective, to peers, team members and managers and respond to questions effectively. Speak effectively one-on-one and in small group situations.
    • Understands impact of individual projects/process on customer's process and productivity.
    • Knows basic budgets/costs of program/project and their impact
