  • The Director position is accountable for strategizing, planning, designing and execution of the business strategies as part of the Site Center of Excellence establishment to drive innovation and benchmark performance.
  • You will provide guidance in all aspects of the backend process and team development as well as play an integral leadership role in the Global Assembly & Test Manufacturing Leadership Team to enable the success of Global Manufacturing and overall Micron Strategy.
  • You will have the expertise in strategic engagements with external suppliers and/or vendors while observing the Code of Conduct and Integrity expectations.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Define business initiatives, develop and implement the requirements to meet strategic business objectives, including critical evaluation of backend growth strategies between Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Provide leadership to craft and complete the "Factory of the Future Vision" with the vital IOT and Data Analytics systems by streamlining the manufacturing process, work methods and value based investments to drive outstanding benchmark culture within the organization to achieve Quality, Cost, Yield, Cycle Time, Scalability and Safety Goals.
  • Review and direct large scale opportunities in the aspect of work force utilization, facility layout, streamlining manufacturing flow and data for stoning, efficiency and effectiveness to improve business model in terms of value stream mapping to extract the vital value in order to reduce touches and achieve competitive cost without fic quality.
  • Be the Site Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support regional and global initiatives by providing the vital expertise & technical consultation to the Functional Areas while developing outstanding Metrics for Process Automation Development and Data Analytics
  • Drive innovation, performance, continuous improvements and ensure resources are appropriately allocated and optimized With Central Teams, Business Units, other sites and external groups in Micron's network to support company's overall needs and objectives.
  • Mentor the COE leadership team and develop talent pipeline by skills training and/or with the universities' partnership programs.
  • Provide mentorship on people strategies to attract, retain and reward talent and effectively deploy them to improve every individual's potential.
  • Perform Gap Analysis and identify the Technical Assessment training needs for the site engineers / Operations personnel related to IOTs, Robotics, Vision Systems, Hardware and Software Integration required for deployment of Process Automation / Data Analytics solutions.
  • Maintain a cadence related to teamwork forums between Global, Regional and Site Automation teams.
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or similar experience in Engineering or Sciences. PhD is an advantage
  • Preferred 10 years experience in Semiconductor Assembly and Test Operations and/or EMS related operations.
  • Need to have a validated experience in process automation and data analytics in MNC companies preferred.
  • Strong technical development leadership value with technical competence is favourable.
  • Must be strongly indicative of working in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Validated positive relationship or engagement ties with the local universities in developing curriculum for the local talent pipeline development.
