- Develop test programs for automotive ASICs on Automatic Test Equipment ( Advantest V93k,...)
- Define test concepts and test specifications together with the design team in ASIC development projects
- Design ATE hardware: PCAs (Loadboards), Needle Cards (Probecards), DUT Boards
- Define test concepts and test specifications together with the design team in ASIC development projects
- Perform and analyze statistical analysis of measurement data on wafers and packaged devices to support other design functions
- Review, approve and release test programs and ATE hardware for series production and support the transfer to the different production locations. Occasionally preparedness for travelling is expected
- Collaborate with different development locations, internal functions and external suppliers
- Optimize the test development environment and processes
- Support to setup and further develop new engineering team for ATE test program development. Identify talent gaps and recommend changes to Discipline Managers

PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group's newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch's Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.

Job Description
Special condition - For job-induction, a stay of 12 months in Germany (Reutlingen) at the beginning is expected.
Qualifications
Education – Bachelor, Master or Doctors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Professional Competence - Good knowledge of electrical measurements (digital and analog) and good coding skills ( C, C++, Visual Basic,...). Experience in test program development on ATE equipment is mandatory.
Experience and Knowhow - A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the semiconductor test development field.
Leadership Competence - Ability to lead technical discussions with design team and to lead a test development engineering team. A minimum of 3 years leadership experience is expected.
Entrepreneurial Mindset - Skill to drive projects that meets performance, development costs, product costs (test time) and schedule objectives.
Personality - Effective team player with focalized work method, acting own driven responsible, cooperative, having very good communication skills.
Languages - Fluent English (written and spoken), knowledge in German is an added advantage.
