    About the Department

    The Channels & Digitalization function enables end-to-end seamless connectivity for UOB customers across all physical and digital touchpoints of the Bank. Designed to be in tune with our customers' banking preferences, we strive to enhance engagement and deliver exemplary experiences across our network of branches, self-service machines and digital platforms. We collaborate with FinTech ecosystem partners to keep abreast of developments in the FinTech innovation space and to embed ourselves in our customers' lives. We also harness customer insights to help us deliver new business models and digital innovations, and to build deeper relationships with our customers.

    Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to collaborate with business segments (PFS, BB & CMB) through joint sales activities to increase referrals of products and services
  • Support and perform customer acquisition activities onsite and offsite through CEP and other programs to on-board customers.
  • Support account opening as per stipulated process, guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to promote and cross sell the Bank's products and services to customers.
  • Build rapport with customers through regular engagement.
  • Promote and support customers on digital adoption and self-serve platforms.
  • Attend and manage customer queries professionally, direct them to appropriate channels, where applicable.
  • Respond and fulfil customer inquiries and request and first contact resolution or follow through, where applicable.
  • Participate in branch Sales & Service Initiatives and Campaigns to drive service excellence culture.
  • Project a professional image at all times through high standards of personal grooming.
  • Perform operational task, and daily branch operations based on operations requirement.
  • Exercise vigilance when performing duties and highlight unusual and suspicious transactions.
  • Comply with established operational control, regulatory requirement and audit procedures.
  • Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Branch Sales, Service and Operations
  • Possess a recognized degree.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Independent, self-motivated, resourceful and result-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Positive attitude and personality
