    About the Role: As a member of the Intel Validation Engineering Group, you'll play an active role in validation and debugging to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customer's hands. What You'll Get to Do: Develop platform BIOS for validation and debug, and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Develop BIOS features for validation and manufacturing organizations. Debug and support platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. Lead discussions about the various programs in planning sessions. Be the point of contact through the various stages of the programs. Work closely with Intel Pre and Post silicon validation and manufacturing organizations across the globe. Creating and maintaining automation tools. Who Are You: You're highly collaborative and a team player who enjoys working with teams across the globe.     Qualifications

    Qualification:

  • You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar with 3+ years of industry experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar with 2+ years of industry experience
  • Deep experience programming in C, C++
  • Knowledge in Intel PC architecture
  • Preferred Qualification(s):

  • Good knowledge in scripting languages (Python, Perl), and simulation tools, such as Simics.
  • Familiar with BIOS development in Intel Pre and Post Silicon environments.
  • Firmware development and debugging environments including compilers, debuggers and emulators
  • Relevant experience with Assembly, embedded firmware, UEFI and HW/SW interactions.
  • Worked in a code repository environment
  • Good communication skill
