Specialist Procurement - Kulim, Malaysia - Infineon Technologies

In your new role you will:

Companywide procurement of Spare parts, Consumables and Maintenance Services for semiconductor production equipment for all our Frontend-production sites Asia, Europe and USA.
In detail the following areas of activity are contained in this position:

• Strategic supplier selection and - improvement
• Negotiation lead for key procurement activities / Cost down initiatives in close cooperation with technical experts and individual site Procurement representatives
• Negotiation of procurement contracts / volume agreements / logistics contracts with key suppliers
• Procurement market analysis and best practice sharing among our manufacturing facilities
• Functional cooperation with the respective buyers at the production sites
• Key member in cross functional teams for cost reduction/product improvement programs
• Activity and result reporting
• Usage of state-of-the art negotiation processes and procurement tools(e-auctions, TCO, game theory.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• University / University of applied sciences / University of cooperative education: Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Industrial Engineering required
• Education as industrial technologist desired
