You'll be a key member of the country Finance Leadership Team with accountability for implementing the Reckitt local business planning and forecasting process, financial strategies, policies guidelines and systems. You will be responsible for preparation and delivery of management reporting and financial analysis for Global Business Units (GBU) Nutrition in the market.

Collaborate closely with Country Manager & Marketing Director and Sales directors to make conclusions and recommendations on business issues, specifically impacting net revenue via marketing investments, using financial and commercial data to add value and strategic direction to the business in order to ensure sustainable growth and effective return on investment.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up an operating model for the FP&A function and define ways of working for a newly carved out business unit with the rest of shared finance structure.

• Monitor monthly performance against plan and/or forecast to explain variances, ensuring that the Return on Investments are adequate to justify the spending

• Support Brand Gross Margin and Product Contribution improvement.

• Oversee budget process ensuring budget guidelines are in place, relevant information is provided for budget preparation, expenditures are within agreed upon parameters and delivering it on time for local/regional/area teams.

• Deploy budgets in line with financial plans and monitor execution tracking in a shared structure environment.

• Monitor trade spend, fostering a mentality of "challenging the usual" when examining Trade Spend patterns and instil business manager behaviour / ROI culture and create P&L awareness across the organisation. Ensure that Trade Spend is executed according to latest forecast/plan and timely accrued.

• Monitor and control the Marketing Spend making sure that budget is not exceeded and allocation is done according to latest forecast/plan.

• Manage the accurate and timely production of all financial information and reports, implementing and maintaining effective processes to improve the reporting process; Work effectively with auditors

• Actively take part in the monthly Sales and Operational Planning process and challenging the data input to ensure quality forecasting. Triangulate external market trends, commercial data and outputs of S&OP process for reliable financial planning and forecasting.

• Complete proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Administration or related from a recognized University

• Accredited member of an internationally recognized CPA organization if Accountant/ Recognized Finance Accountancy qualification would be an added advantage.

• At least 7 years working experience preferably in the FMCG industry.

• Exposure/working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), Hyperion and Microsoft office (advanced level).

• Credible commercial and business awareness with strong understanding of business processes and operations, particularly FMCG.

• Energetic with excellent interpersonal & leadership skills, able to influence people of all levels

• Ability to review and identify issues and opportunities in business processes.
