    Job Description

  • Lead strategic initiatives to expand and grow sales of fixed video, analytics and access control solutions
  • Identify and champion market research efforts to ensure value propositions that will exceed our customer expectations.
  • Gather and analyze the voice of the customer and sales to develop solution requirements.
  • Analyze business opportunities to grow the portfolio both organically and inorganically.
  • Maintain and communicate product solution roadmaps.
  • Develop the customer value proposition to positively differentiate our product in the market.
  • Research and maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and overall market trends to define market leading solutions.
  • Define and communicate product positioning and key product messages to regional sales teams and work closely with Marketing Communications on the content of product marketing collateral.
  • Support and deliver customer presentations and become a regional market expert on solution.
  • Support sales opportunities during the needs analysis process, confirm that MSI's video products meet the prospect's requirements and assist in technical qualifications.

  • Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years progressive experience with a strong understanding of the video surveillance, video analytics and access control markets
  • Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP communication
  • Prior experience in strategy or sales enablement roles is desirable
  • Delivering Product Demos to end users
  • Engaging and building relationships with channel partners and end users
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
  • Strong business analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow-through.
  • Deals well with ambiguity and identifies systemic approaches to solving problems.
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to deeply assess the competition and drive perception-shifting efforts that differentiate Motorola Solutions in compelling ways.
  • Highly skilled in presenting insights in a concise, effective and influential manner to a variety of audiences, including senior executives on a regular basis.
  • Proven track record of collaboration within a team and meeting schedule deadlines
  • Ability to influence members external to their department
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with multi-discipline, cross-cultural teams
