- Develop unit and flare Safety Relief Reviews (SRRs), which is an engineering evaluation of the safety systems (, PSVs, PVVs, Blowdown etc.) that keep our process facilities safe
- Consult and provide technical quality assurance (TQA) of site performed SRR work.
- Propose cost-effective mitigations to SRR findings.
- Participate in Risk Assessments with Process Safety.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering specialty4 years minimum experience in Process Design or Safety Relief
- Knowledgeable/familiar with the codes / standards such as API 520, API 521, API 526, API 2000, ASME Sec 8
- Experience in performing overpressure/flare analysis
- Hands on experience with Pro II, HYSYS or other process simulation tools
- Be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural global team
- Ability to manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities
- Working knowledge of data infrastructure, pipelines, and data integration processes to understand data access issues
- An appreciation of data science and machine learning applications and the related data requirements)

If successful, you will be part of the Safety Relief department, ExxonMobil Pressure Relief and Flare Center of Excellence. You will contribute to the protection of our coworkers, communities and environment by finding and mitigating overpressure risks in an open, innovative and collaborative environment with high quality, capital efficient safety relief review analyses.
