Position Overview: CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a skilled IT Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The IT Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and assisting in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong IT background to contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations.
2. Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and applications, including desktops, laptops, printers, and software packages.
3. Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and backups, to ensure data integrity and security.
4. Monitor IT infrastructure performance and reliability, identifying and addressing any potential issues or bottlenecks.
5. Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve IT-related issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
7. Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with best practices.
8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, recommending improvements and enhancements to existing systems and processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting IT issues in a corporate environment.
3. Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, and security principles.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office 365, Active Directory, and ITIL processes.
5. Experience with IT ticketing systems, remote support tools, and monitoring solutions.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and stakeholders at all levels.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
8. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
