On behalf of a major E&P client in Malaysia, I am searching for a Drilling Engineer to be based in their Kuala Lumpur office, on a 3 year+ contract


Responsibilities:

• Support the Exploration and Development Teams Objectives in meeting well delivery requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Ensure company's, regulatory requirement, and safe practices are adhered to throughout all well planning, drilling operations and interfaces.
• Plan, Engineer, Procure and optimisewell plans suitable for well objectives.
• Prepare well AFEs, monitor daily drilling costs, benchmark performance and ensure accurate cost reporting and allocation

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Minimum 12 years of experience in drilling Engineering and Operations, preferable offshore environment.
