About The Job

• Planning and designing database structural architecture through reviewing and analyzing client's operations and requirements
• Build and configure various types of databases based on business needs
• Carry out evaluation, planning and performing regular database upgrades, back-up and recovery activities to ensure functionability of databases
• Responsibl for designing and implementing Disaster Recovery Plan and solutioning for different types of databases
• Setting up and maintaining Linux based systems
• Implementing indexes for performance improvement
• Creating, publishing and monitoring databases to identify issus such as replications, failures, memory usage and stability of connection
• Work closely with application team to gathering information for incoming projects/request
• Automating database activities
  
  

About The Manager/team

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in database administrator function, specializing in MongoDB (inclusive of 1 year hands-on experience with Linux)
• Experience with MongoDB database in operating mechanism and architecture
• Cloud experience is an added advantage (preferably AWS/Azure)
• Experience in writing debugging procedures and SQL statements
