- Prepare year-endfinancial statementsfor the business and consolidate the group accounts
- Prepare and review bursa reporting, monthlymanagement accountswithbudgetholders, focusing on full-yearforecastprediction versusbudget. Identifying andmanaging risksand opportunities.
- Prepare and updateannual budgets, working withbudgetholders.
- Continuous improvement of the newaccounting system; helping to improve its effectiveness
- Be a strong business partner with thebudgetholders, working with them to understand the business and help them understandFinance.
- Preparefinancial reportsand ensure organizationalfinancialstability to improve the Company'sfinancialperformance.
- Strengthen AirAsia brand image andcustomer advocacy
- Evaluation and analysis of monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, andfinancialforecasts
- Managecash flowby tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
- Ensure that allfinancialtransactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Establish and implementfinancialreporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Develop and maintain good relationships with related business partners both internally and externally
- Monitor SOPs development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with Regional standards and guidelines and comply with regulatory requirement
- Track operating progress and result against annual plan andKPIsto ensure targets are met; provide support as needed
- Support innovation and continuous improvement includingpromotingbest-practice within AirAsia
- Communicate withRegional managementon related topics to develop a good relationships and understand business needs
- A bachelor's degree with CPA (K), CIMA, ACCA, or ACA. 10+ years' post-qualification experience in a senior role with external audit experince.
- Strongfinancial,accountingandmanagerialskills
- Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls
- Must have knowledge ofIFRS, exposure to Bursa and familiarity with Malaysiaaccounting standards.
- Excellent reporting background - statutory/management accounts/consolidated statements.
- Excellent communication skills- written and verbal. Ability to develop and deliver presentations at all levels.
