    The Role

    We are looking for a dynamic Logistics Coordinator – Refugee and Humanitarian Services based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who is passionate about people and wants to partner with us on a transformative journey to leave a lasting impact on a global scale.

    Toll is excited and proud to work on behalf of the Australian Department of Home Affairs to deliver services in support of Refugees and Humanitarian visa applicants associated with medical assessment and subsequent travel to Australia. We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will contribute to this effort by acting as the central point of contact and co-ordination for assigned customers and support with direct refugee client engagement. You will also support us in monitoring our supply chain in Malaysia and Indonesia and ensuring all services are provided at the highest level and in line with contractual requirements. You will report to and work with the Regional Manager to deliver these business outcomes.

    As a Logistics Coordinator , you will:

  • Support case management of your assigned cases and manage expectations ensuring refugee clients and their families understand the service scope and case life cycle. Direct in-person support at service appointments (Exit Visa applications, Airport Departures etc.,) may be required where necessary.
  • Work with local government agencies as well as the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur to facilitate our customers with local regulatory requirements and ensure documentation is safely assigned before travel to Australia.
  • Have a strong awareness of the local and regional environment and customer demographic. Using this knowledge, you will guide and support the case management team to deliver services in a way best suited to our customers.
  • Develop strategic relationships with regional representatives of key major stakeholders and work with the Regional Manager in promoting excellent working relationships with them.
  • Partner with subcontractors in Malaysia and Indonesia ensuring all services are delivered with the highest standard.
  • Use innovative ways to ensure that service delivery in remote locations is consistent with contractual requirements and expectations.

    Qualifications

    About You

    To be successful in this role you will likely have:

  • Knowledge of supply chain process fundamentals of service monitoring and evaluation. Previous experience in delivery services within a Supply Chain framework is preferable.
  • Excellent nuanced communication skills with fluency in Bahasa Melayu and English (written and oral).
  • Strong awareness of the local and regional environment and customer demographic with a desire to facilitate communication and understanding.
  • Proven track record of building strong working relationships with important stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ability to easily travel domestically and internationally within the region and a full Driver's license
  • Ability to work flexible hours recognising that some services may be delivered outside of regular business hours (essentially Airport related activities )
